No to 80
Calling on the government to scrap plans for 80mph limits on motorways, which will result in more devastating crashes and casualties, increased costs to drivers and the NHS, and increased CO2 pollution.
I have concerns that all and more of the theoretical savings in trip time will be negated by the increase in variability of trip time created by the acknowledged increase in numbers of crashes.
